Beckford signing confirmed
After SOS revealed earlier this week that Leeds United striker Jermaine Beckford was undergoing a medical at the Blues’ Finch Farm training complex, the club has today confirmed one of the worst kept secrets in football.
Talk had been rife since January that prolific marksman Beckford had signed a Pre-Contract Agreement with Moyes’ men, and today’s confirmation that the London-born predator has put pen to paper on a 4-year deal comes as no surprise.
I am sure Leeds and Everton fans alike will join together in wishing Jermaine all the best for his Goodison career, and if the 6’2″ hitman can reproduce his prolific form at Premier League level, it surely won’t be long until he is once again fending off transfer speculation with his trademark quip “…you serious? What shirt am I wearin’ Bruv!!”.
Welcome Jermaine Beckford, let the goals flow!

He’s quick, has shown he can finish, he lives on the shoulder and he’s a physical specimen.
Absolute no-brainer on a free
Win-win for us.
I’m sure there would be a club willing to take him off our hands if he didn’t settle.
