Everton to open new season away at Blackburn

Everton will kick off the 2010/11 season away to Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park on August 14th!

Evertonians descend on Ewood Park annually in their droves in what is possibly one of THE favourite away days of the season. The Blues will be hoping for a similar result to the one they earned at the back end of last season, when Tim Cahill popped up with a late injury time winner to secure a 3-2 win; the first the Toffees had managed since early 2006.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are next up at Goodison on the 21st August, before Everton travel to Villa Park come August 28th.

After an international break, Everton entertain Manchester United on September 11th; while seven days later the Toon army arrive at Goodison for a beating!

Away days at Fulham and Birmingham follow at the end of September and start of October respectively, before the first Merseyside derby of the season, on October 16th at Goodison Park, takes place.

The Blues will finish the season on May 22nd at home to reigning champions Chelsea.
