Neville: We’re so lucky Moyes is still here
Everton’s club captain Phil Neville has lavished praise on his manager David Moyes, and insists the club are lucky that he is still here.
Speaking with Dan Walker during the BBC’s ‘Focus Forum’, Neville branded Moyes a ‘top’ manager who has stood the test of time.
‘He has stood the test of time and he’s done it on limited resources,‘ Neville declared.
‘You only have to look at the players he’s produced. Joleon Lescott was bought for £3m and sold on for £20m. He has turned Leighton Baines and Phil Jagielka into England internationals.
‘We’re so lucky none of the big boys have yet to come in for him. We just hope he stays. In the period we’re going through at the moment we need the foundations to be strong.’

This fella is one big gobshite. His skills are such that everytime he takes the field he breaches the Trades Description Act. His manager, of whom he speaks so highly, is just as bad.

So what exactly should the club captain come out and say about his manager?
Were the things that he said lies?
Is Moyes not a top manager? Has he not made some fantastic signings?
Rather than just watching the short clip now available on the BBC website did you watch the whole show and listen to Phil Neville defend our club passionately and put that worm Dan Walker back in his hole when he tried inadvertently or otherwise to run Everton down.

Moyes biggest mistake has been to give you a new 2 year contract extesion. Last season you where caught out numerous times and looked past it, your performance so far this season have proved you are past it.
I wish Moyes would grow a pair of eyes and give you a free transfer. You bring nothing to the team.
