Yobo to consider loan switch to Premier League club?

Colin Udoh, award-winning Nigerian football writer and analyst, has suggested on social networking site Twitter that  Joseph Yobo’s advisers are considering a loan move out of Everton  to another club within the Premier League.

Arguably now fifth choice centre back behind the likes of Phil Jagielka, Sylvain Distin, John Heitinga and even Tony Hibbert, Yobo has found himself out in the cold amidst rumours of a breakdown in relationship betweeen himself and Blues boss David Moyes. Moyes was reportedly livid that Yobo left Everton in the lurch in January by going to the African Cup of Nations tournament, despite not being fully fit at the time and the Blues having a serious scarcity of defensive options.

Signed in 2002, initially on loan from Marseille, Yobo has been a good servant for Everton but sadly has proven himself to be a complete liability when it matters most on the pitch.

A loan move would guarantee him first-team football, and hopefully a decent fee for Everton, but surely club officials would much prefer to get Yobo off the wagebook and recoup their original outlay.

Harry I don’t think the premier league would allow that many players on the pitch at once but it’s definitely worth a bash!
