Really couldnt give 2 shits lad. If you agree with me then fine, if you dont agree then argue your opinion. If you cant do either or dont have the ability like yourself, then i suggest you just keep quiet and wallow in your own self pity.

You're barking up the wrong tree, mate. I'm actually chuffed you're back, as I very rarely meet genuinely thick people, so the opportunity to conduct experiments on one is exciting.

Could be a goer this, it's in today's Echo.

Should we sell Yobo and bring him in...what do we do? Surely we have enough defenders, as good as Vertonghen is?

We didn't have enough last season.

I believe this guy is left footed and we all know Moyes likes a right footed and left footed centre back pairing, and we all know that Distin is not good enough for us.

So, I can see this rumour being true, and if he did sign, then I'd like to see both Yobo and Distin shipped out and I believe then our first choice defensive lign up would be Heitinga and Vertonghen, with Jags as back up.

Unless Jags can get back to his former self, which I have a feeling he won't, then that will still be a pretty awesome defence. We clearly missed Lescott last season, and Moyes always bases his teams on a solid defence, so perhaps that's the thinking? I certainly wouldn't be unhappy if we sold Distin and Yobo to finance this move and with young Duffy as 4th choice, I think we'd be well covered. In this case, I may even concede to signing Sendeross on a free as extra cover.

He can cover for Baines so maybe there's more to this than what I first thought...

We still don't have a pot to piss in so I doubt it.

That is, of course, unless a Yobo exit is near.

Moyes doesn't seem to be having any doubts about Jags, TB.

The whole point of the thread was IF this was true, at the moment it doesnt look like it is. If he buys an expensive defender though, there is only 1 lad in the firing line for the drop.....the most overrated defender in Evertons history...Mr Jagielka

We will see IF a defender is bought. It certainly wont be Heitinga getting dropped

Distin?

Jagielka and Heitinga is the way forward at centre-back, this 'lack of height' bullshit is a myth.

If they are solid enough, nothing will get past them.

Dont agree even if a defender is bought mate and thats what is getting talked about if another expensive centre half is bought.
The Heitinga/Distin partnership looks far better and balanced on paper. The form of Jags post injury left a lot to be desired

he wont be getting dropped from centre half I agree, because he won't be playing there.

Fellaini won't be ready to start the season IMO so Johnny will carry on.

If he maintains the form he was in and the defence is playing well, it will be Fellaini who needs to think how he gets back in.

And lets be honest....Phil jagielka has forgotten more worldclass performances than big Mo has given!!

Obviously were talking a fully fit squad here, when that happens Heitinga will slot back in to centre half as 1st choice.

As for the last bit? Your fucking serious arent you!
