I don't think it's lethargy, more like his long distance running background. You know: whatever the distance, you try to do it at constant pace. Hopefully he'll learn that football isn't like that.
Yeah, good point, it had crossed my mind. Lets at least get a world record holder in though eh...

Taken from the Follow Everton Forum
"Fellaini can't be dropped, he's class, does everything simple, calm, keeps the ball and passes to one of our players, he can take it under pressure and retain possesion. He is big, good in the air, strong, got good vision, can finish and has a good shot. I would have him as a defensive midfielder but tell him not to dive in and be rash - he's got better at that in recent weeks. He bosses the game."

To be fair, Fellaini is comfortable on the ball and keeps it simple. He won't be much of a player unless he really sorts out his mobility. He needs to put on weight, until then i don't hold out much hope that he'lls become a 'class' player. He's average at best and doesn't offer anything. I want the lad to succeed but people that class him as some destroyer and world class player are absolute baloons. Average player at best at the moment and doesn't offer anything apart from height, which he doesn't even use to his advantage.
Unless he sorts out his mobility and ability to keep up to the speed and tempo of the English game, then he'll be nothing. He gets bypassed by average players, doesn't hold his position, runs around like a clown without any care in the world and gets over-run by midfielders like Gary O'Neil.

You've nailed it there mate.
His weight is an issue, he's like a rake. And, bad thing is, he lost more weight during the summer!

It'll be a sad state of affairs if this forum becomes known for its 10 Fellaini bashing threads a day.
Can't you just sticky one and keep it up there?

"bosses the game"? I'd love someone to name a game where Fellaini has bossed it like Mikel can.

I want Fellaini to stay at the club, if he doesn't prove himself this season then he can fuck off!

I like Fellaini.. I think it will work out for him in the long run.
I like him too but not because I think he's great.

Haha, I wish I could.
No, it's because there are so few footballers nowadays who have any personality whatsoever. Look at Xavi, Iniesta and Alonso for example. Sure, they're great footballers, but can you tell them apart? Not really.
