So much recent history, I remember the Bullens Road Stand being built. “Dixie” Dean, Warney Cresswell, little Jimmy Dunn, Ted Sagar and many more. Those great days in the 20′s and 30′s, Boys Pen 4d(1 1/2p for those born after 1971) that was a lot of money for a young lad so we had to wait for gates to open at 3/4 time. Players £8 a win £7 a draw £6 when beaten
